GREEN MOUNTAIN MADERA

Green Mountain Madera specializes in handcrafted wood products that are both beautiful and functional. Our products come from natural and sustainable sources in Vermont and the Northeast whenever possible. Many of our culinary products (bowls, boards and utensils) literally come from tree to table. We also work with exotic woods from regional wood suppliers.

We strive to showcase wood’s natural beauty in our products. Wood grain tells a tree’s story and we relish the challenge of sharing its beauty with you and your families. From complicated cross grains of limb junctions and chatoyance to the patterns created in spalted/ambrosia wood, we embrace the “perfect imperfections” that only nature can create.

We use food safe finishes in most of our products to provide utility with the natural beauty. Unless otherwise noted, we finish our artisanal pieces with natural (non-toxic) oils and wax.
